Has anyone got a waiver for eczema in the army, and if so were there any restrictions? - army and eczema
I joined the Army in eczema and had no problem. I think there are serious forms with open wounds and other things, so it's probably a case by case basis. Mine is the only difference being that he never received a free vaccination against smallpox prior to the implementation, because it has a history of adverse reactions in people with skin diseases.
I was 8 years ago and my asthma attacks usually occur in winter and in the legs and back and shoulders ... almost all areas where the clothing rubs. I have never seen a doctor because it was, however, but probably should. I do not see how he could stay out of the army, however.
